We do business-to-business retainers, offering a specialised service to small to medium-sized businesses, and aim to open to new markets as we grow
Errand Run is a delivery and errand-running company established in 2020. We are based in Johannesburg and operate within the Gauteng area.
Errand Run provides a delivery and errand-running service to businesses to allow them to focus on their core business. We take away the hassle associated with running unplanned ad-hoc tasks on demand.
A 100% black youth, woman-owned and operated company, Errand Run originated from a desire to participate economically but grew to include a social responsibility element aiding graduates on an interim basis while they await full-time employment.
‘Kgabo-Carol Matlou worked in the corporate space for 6 years before traveling overseas and learning more about business. Upon returning to South Africa, she partnered with Two sisters Melissa and Chanel Naidoo, two businesswomen who’d just founded Idea Brewers and she began making deliveries for them as a contractor.
Inspired by Idea Brewers and what she’d learned about logistics in other countries, Kgabo-Carol decided to turn this opportunity into a business. She started Errand Run and expanded their service offerings to include deliveries and various errands that Idea Brewers and other Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises need to run on a daily basis. Through this, she was able to help Melissa and Chanel grow their business and cultivated a strong partnership. Simultaneously, Kgabo-Carol also grew as a businesswoman herself.
Through Errand Run, Kgabo-Carol hopes to not only provide quality service to more businesses and contribute toward the sustainability of SMEs in South Africa, but also to provide unemployed graduates the opportunity to gain work experience and business acumen while they look for more permanent employment in their respective fields.’
